Everyone is welcome at the exclusive Highlands End Leisure Club; become a member for the competitive package rates, or as a holiday maker come and relax in the sauna; boost your energy levels in the gymnasium or unwind in the prestige swimming pool. The children will love the fun pitch n putt or a good knock around on the tennis court.
Holiday park residents must be aware that the Leisure Club prices are separate from your total pitch fees. You will need to pay the Leisure Club directly when using, thank you.
Swimming pool, sauna & steam room
Our luxury pool is 20m x 9m and available to all age groups, there are however designated times for adult swimming sessions. The water temperature is kept at a comfortable 28 – 29 degrees with regular poolside checks by competent staff. The sauna & steam room are only available to customers over 18years old and please be aware that the swimming pool does not have a spectator area. Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There are designated male and female changing areas all with heated showers and baby changing units.
The gym is fully equipped with modern workout equipment, laid out to give plenty of space for floor work and stretching. The Gymnasium has a very friendly atmosphere and is only available to people over 15 years old. A gym induction or a personal fitness programme is available at an extra cost, instructed by a qualified personal trainer.
The outdoor tennis court is a standard hard base court with ball barrier fencing. The court is open to all including non-members. Tennis rackets and balls are available for hire from Highlands End main reception and the tennis court is available for use all year round, except the Christmas and New Year period. It is recommended to make reservations at reception to guarantee availability.
Pitch ‘n’ putt
Shepherds down 9 hole pitch n putt course is located within 10 acres of Highlands End stunning grounds, with views across the heritage coastline. The course is open daily from March – November and Golf clubs, putters and balls can all be hired from the main reception, non-members are all welcome.
Golden Cap holiday Park has a large fishing lake with different types of fresh water fish, including carp and roach and the lake has recently won a conservation award called the “David Bellamy Gold”. The lakes wooden dock is very pleasant to sit along and watch the wildlife unfold, whilst waiting for that catch of the day. You do need a fishing licence for this lake and that can be obtained locally, you would also need to bring your own fishing equipment.
Becoming a Leisure Club Member:
Membership forms can be collected from the reception area of Highlands End Holiday Park or Leisure club. The memberships are available on a banding system which includes bronze, silver and gold membership. Each band offers a different usage within the club and are all offered at very competitive rates.
